RIHANNA CELEBRATES ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF FENTY BEAUTY

In a surprise store appearance in Brooklyn, Rihanna celebrated the one-year anniversary of Fenty Beauty with the introduction of her Gloss Lip Universal Lip Luminizer in Diamond Pink and Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil.

Rihanna created Fenty Beauty “so that women everywhere would be included,” focusing on a wide range of traditionally hard-to- match skin tones, developing formulas that work for all skin types, and pinpointing universal shades. Her vision, above all, is to inspire: “Makeup is there for you to have fun with. It should never feel like pressure. It should never feel like a uniform. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different.” Rihanna says.

At New York Fashion Week, Rihanna invited guests to experience the hypnotic world of Savage X Fenty. The Fall/Winter 18 collection was revealed as exotic installations came to life and Savages emerged from their world into ours. Amidst an artificial place of another kind, with botanical domes, hydrophonics, and natural floral, the Savages explored and moved through the set in a choreography and took guests on a journey of their world. The collection, available for purchase immediately after the show, takes inspiration from Rihanna’s favorite go-to lingerie pieces and fuses it with a street style vibe.
