Congrats to Frost Gamble, a producer I was fortunate to watch and assist go through the process for the past couple of years. A cat who trusted my guidance, heeded my words and began on a journey that took him to where he wanted to go:
“Why do Tone Chop and I look so happy in this pic? We just signed a marketing & distribution deal for our new EP.
I visited NY last week, and Chop and I shot a music video for one of the tracks. Having the project nearly completed, I reached out to Tony Bucher at Seven13 Entertainment (Crooked I, Royce da 5’9”, Horseshoe Gang…), who loved the project and came on board immediately! I’m currently on cloud 9.
This is will be the first time a true record label has ever invested time, money and resources into one of our projects. Seven13 is part of the Universal Records platform – so we have a realistic shot at global radio play, spins on Shade45, serious blog coverage, etc.
It’s far too early to do a victory lap, but I feel incredibly thankful to Tony, Chop, and all of you who have helped us get to this point.

This couldn’t have happened to a more deserving person. Looking forward to the next stage! I could have put talented local cats in a similar position, but they had huge egos, didn’t want to listen, had a fucked up sense of entitlement and refused to invest in themselves. I noticed the diff in Frost immediately when we first connected. Sooooooooo don’t miss dealing with any of that.
